01 Senior Account Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager, who wants to embrace their own step change.

You must be passionate, relentless and driven. Your job will be to create deeper relationships and long-term partnerships with some of our top clients, which will require building multiple relationships with CEOs, GMs, Chief Customer Officers and marketing directors.

You will be confident in project scoping, holding to timelines and budgets, liaising with clients as well as external suppliers. New business must be a passion. Talking business must light you up. You must be a keen learner, who is always looking to raise the bar.

Applicant requirements:

  • Have at least 6 years’ successful experience in Account Management (mandatory)
  • Proven track record in running campaigns/ projects with clients – you know your numbers of how it worked for your client and your agency
  • You can hit the ground running. You have experience in sales background dealing with senior people in Australian business – and they are the first people you’ll get in touch with
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Resolve problems quickly, make quick decisions and not be afraid to have a voice
  • You teach yourself

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be personally responsible for the service and nurturing of about 10 high-value clients and $2M revenue
  • This includes relationship enrichment, new business development, client service:  supporting you in this is an in-house, top-tier collective of creative, strategy and digital divisions – with a new business director essentially on call
  • You’ll be anticipating needs, spotting opportunities and writing the briefs and proposals yourself
  • You may be managing other team members
  • Reporting to our Client Success Director

02 Paid Media Manager

Can you create acquisition strategies and drive down CPA across a range of industries?

We are looking to hire our next digital manager and are looking for someone who has experience with CRO, Search, and social paid media. We want someone who is looking to grow their career and take ownership of key client accounts.

To win this role, you need to be self-sufficient and be capable of driving campaigns forward. You will be working across clients in industries from fertility clinics to funeral homes. You could be building an acquisition campaign one day and working on the client strategy the next.

Who You Are

You’re passionate about client service, conversion rates, and digital marketing. You have experience managing and delivering digital campaigns, from strategy to analytics. You are comfortable talking about a range of paid media, including video and display.

We are looking for someone with a desire to help companies grow using digital.

You’re a digital native who’s immersed in the digital space and has experience implementing projects across web and social.

To do this, we draw on tools from strategy, marketing, consumer behaviour, and behavioural economics (among others).

To Make This Rare Position Yours, You Will:

  • Possess formal qualification in Advertising, Marketing, Branding, Creative, and/or Strategy
  • Have a minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with paid media, especially Adwords.
  • Be AdWords certified
  • Have an understanding of CRO methods and technologies
  • Be driven for success (find a way to show us, don’t tell us)
  • Have killer attention to detail and understand good digital marketing
  • Have experience building acquisition strategies across AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn, and any other paid media

Bonus Points For:

The ideal candidate will have at least one of the following sets of skills and experience:

  • Experience setting up client dashboards
  • Experience in account management
  • Experience implementing Marketing Automation
  • Experience working with clients on SEO or content strategy
  • Experience leveraging data for marketing, communications, or business results
  • Experience working in an agency environment

03 Step Change Internship

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for interns who are interested in learning more about strategy, digital marketing, account management or design. A Step Change internship will teach you more in three months than Uni teaches in three years. Work with the strategy, digital, creative or client success team on live client projects and gain real experience.

As a business, we are now working with larger clients, on much larger long-term and integrated scopes of work. Our clients are ambitious, out to play big games and change the world.

WHAT WE’RE OFFERING

We have a three-month, unpaid, internship available for students in their final year of study. It’s okay if your area of study isn’t business, digital, creative or marketing —here we have lawyers, economists, journalists and engineers. What’s more important is your interest in learning, the challenge of thinking on your feet and thinking creatively.

The internship is unpaid for three days a week over three months though it’s worth noting almost half our current staff came through this program, with us building a full-time job for the best.

We’re happy to give letters of reference for those wanting to use their internship for a university course.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

Don’t worry, we’re not interested in having someone around just to get coffees. Your role will be to learn our tools, then work closely with our strategy team to deploy them. As a small business, you’ll also get the chance to be involved with sales, event management and the creative team so you’ll come out with a really broad view of how the industry works.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

The only thing you’ll need to bring with you is the right attitude. As a small team, we all have to jump in to lend a hand where needed, even if that’s outside our comfort zone. So be confident, be interested, and be willing to work hard – but leave any ego at home.

We will cover any expenses incurred while working.

Please note: We require a letter of acknowledgement from your university that either state that you are undertaking the internship as part of a university course, or that the university acknowledges that the internship would be of benefit to your degree.
