01 Senior Account Manager
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager, who wants to embrace their own step change.
You must be passionate, relentless and driven. Your job will be to create deeper relationships and long-term partnerships with some of our top clients, which will require building multiple relationships with CEOs, GMs, Chief Customer Officers and marketing directors.
You will be confident in project scoping, holding to timelines and budgets, liaising with clients as well as external suppliers. New business must be a passion. Talking business must light you up. You must be a keen learner, who is always looking to raise the bar.
Have at least 6 years’ successful experience in Account Management (mandatory)
Proven track record in running campaigns/ projects with clients – you know your numbers of how it worked for your client and your agency
You can hit the ground running. You have experience in sales background dealing with senior people in Australian business – and they are the first people you’ll get in touch with
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Resolve problems quickly, make quick decisions and not be afraid to have a voice
You teach yourself
You’ll be personally responsible for the service and nurturing of about 10 high-value clients and $2M revenue
This includes relationship enrichment, new business development, client service: supporting you in this is an in-house, top-tier collective of creative, strategy and digital divisions – with a new business director essentially on call
You’ll be anticipating needs, spotting opportunities and writing the briefs and proposals yourself
You may be managing other team members

02 Step Change Internship
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for interns who are interested in learning more about strategy, digital marketing, account management or design. A Step Change internship will teach you more in three months than Uni teaches in three years. Work with the strategy, digital, creative or client success team on live client projects and gain real experience.

We are a fast-growing strategically led agency – covering strategy, marketing, digital, creative and culture – creating the magic that happens when the worlds of strategy and creativity collide.
We work with over 100 brands each year, from Big Four banks to funeral homes. We’re facilitators and problem-solvers who believe the best solutions in business start with the customer. To do this, we draw on tools from strategy, marketing, consumer behaviour, and behavioural economics (among others).
As a business, we are now working with larger clients, on much larger long-term and integrated scopes of work. Our clients are ambitious, out to play big games and change the world.
WHAT WE’RE OFFERING
We have a three-month, unpaid, internship available for students in their final year of study. It’s okay if your area of study isn’t business, digital, creative or marketing —here we have lawyers, economists, journalists and engineers. What’s more important is your interest in learning, the challenge of thinking on your feet and thinking creatively.
The internship is unpaid for three days a week over three months though it’s worth noting almost half our current staff came through this program, with us building a full-time job for the best.
We’re happy to give letters of reference for those wanting to use their internship for a university course.
WHAT YOU’LL GET
Don’t worry, we’re not interested in having someone around just to get coffees. Your role will be to learn our tools, then work closely with our strategy team to deploy them. As a small business, you’ll also get the chance to be involved with sales, event management and the creative team so you’ll come out with a really broad view of how the industry works.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
The only thing you’ll need to bring with you is the right attitude. As a small team, we all have to jump in to lend a hand where needed, even if that’s outside our comfort zone. So be confident, be interested, and be willing to work hard – but leave any ego at home.
We will cover any expenses incurred while working.
Please note: We require a letter of acknowledgement from your university that eitherstate that you are undertaking the internship as part of a university course, or that theuniversity acknowledges that the internship would be of benefit to your degree.
